2. Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, email address, telephone number, postal address.
  • Licence & Eligibility Data: Driving licence details, eyesight confirmation.
  • Booking & Payment Data: Lesson dates, payment confirmations, and invoices (processed via TotalDrive, Supabase, and Adyen).

2.2 Automated & Tracking Data

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, session duration, and form submissions.
  • Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
  • Behavioural Data: Heatmaps and session recordings via Hotjar (only with your consent).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Manage bookings, lessons, and communications.
  • Process payments and provide receipts.

  • Conduct analytics (only with consent).

We will only send marketing communications if you have opted in.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • Service Providers:

    • TotalDrive – CRM, bookings, and payment processing (Privacy Policy)
    • Supabase – Data hosting
    • Adyen – Payment processing
    • Hotjar – Analytics
    • Email/SMS platforms – Communication and notifications
  • Legal Authorities:
    When required by law (e.g., accident reporting, DVSA requests).

  • Business Transfers:
    In connection with any merger, sale, or acquisition, with appropriate safeguards in place.


5. International Transfers

Our data processors are based in the UK/EU.
If we share data outside these regions, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to ensure compliance with UK GDPR.


6. Data Retention

  • Personal & Booking Data: Retained for the duration of our relationship plus 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws.
  • Marketing Data: Retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
  • Analytics Data: Retained by Hotjar for up to 365 days, in line with their policy.

9. Children’s Data

Our Services are intended for learners aged 17 and above, in line with UK driving laws.
Learners aged 16 may be eligible if they receive the higher rate mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Disability Living Allowance (DLA).

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 16 who do not meet these criteria.
If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete the data promptly.
