Visit the official website at Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). This is the only official website where you can book your test.

Click on the "Start Now" button to begin the booking process.

Enter your personal details, including your provisional driving licence number and your theory test pass certificate number.

Location & Time

Choose your preferred test centre location. You can select up to three locations to increase your chances of getting a preferred date and time. Pick a date and time that suits you. You will be presented with a list of available dates and times, and you can choose the one that works best for you.

Pay the fee

Pay the test fee using a debit or credit card. The fee for a car practical test is currently £62 on weekdays and £75 on weekends and bank holidays. Once payment is confirmed, you wll receive an email confirmation of your booking. You will also be sent a confirmation letter in the post, which will contain important information about your test, including the date, time, and location.
