The Honest Truth – Young Driver Road Safety

The Honest Truth is a national road safety campaign focused on improving safety outcomes for newly qualified young drivers. It highlights an important issue: while hundreds of thousands of people pass their driving test each year, young newly qualified drivers remain the highest-risk road user group, and road crashes are the leading cause of death for 17 to 24 year olds in the UK.

Delivered in collaboration with emergency services, road safety organisations and driving instructors across the UK, The Honest Truth provides direct, practical road safety education designed to help learners and newly qualified drivers understand the real risks they face once they begin driving independently.
